In addition to his latest work, the 2010 PEN/Faulkner Award for Fiction winner War Dances, Sherman Alexie is the author of numerous books of poetry; three story collections, 'Ten Little Indians', 'The Lone Ranger and Tonto Fistfight in Heaven', and 'The Toughest Little Indian in the World'; and four novels, 'Reservation Blues', 'Indian Killer', 'Flight', and 'The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian', for which he won the National Book Award for Young People's Literature. Alexie wrote and directed the film 'The Business of Fancydancing' and also wrote the award-winning screenplay for 'Smoke Signals'. He lives in Seattle. |
